Special Leave Petition (SLP) under Article 136 of the Constitution of India
A person aggrieved with any judgment, decree, determination, sentence or order, interim or final, passed or made by any court or tribunal in the territory of India, may challenge the same, before Supreme Court of India under the said Article. Ordinarily, the case, which raises the substantial question of law and which needs to be finally laid at rest by the Apex court; or where there is grave, blatant and atrocious miscarriage of justice, the SLPs are entertained in this special discretionary jurisdiction.
